Kobe Bryant Honored for Community Work

Kobe Bryant's legacy is still being felt in basketball and beyond. The Lakers superstar posthumously won the Los Angeles Area Emmy Governors Award this weekend. The award recognized Bryant's philanthropy, community building, and inspiration both on and off the basketball court.

Legendary composer John Williams accepted the award for Bryant. Bryant died in a helicopter crash in January along with his 13-year-old daughter and several others.
